The South Carolina Chapter 1 of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club offers a variety of membership categories:

Active Member

• Active membership is open to both past and present Fire Fighting, Emergency Medical Technicians and Medic personnel from established fire departments led by a Fire Chief or Public Service Director.
• Eligible personnel include those from career, industrial, military, on-call, part-paid, volunteer, or wildland firefighting sectors who either own or have access to a motorcycle and possess a current, legal motorcycle endorsement.

Social Member

• Social membership extends to immediate family and partners Associate, or Member-at-Large members, including those related to deceased members.
• The minimum age requirement for a social member is 16 years.

Junior Member

• Junior membership is available to children or grandchildren of Active and Associate members who are under 16 years of age.
• Upon turning 16, junior members must transition to another membership category.

Associate Member

• Associate membership is offered to individuals who have been nominated in writing, accepted in good standing, and have demonstrably contributed to the promotion of the Club, subject to the approval by a majority vote of the Chapter’s Executive Board.
• Final acceptance requires a majority vote of the membership.
• Associate membership also extends to fire department employees not qualifying for Active membership.
