History
Founded on August 17, 1982, the Red Knights Motorcycle Club has become a beacon of brotherhood, charity, and the love of motorcycles. Open to all firefighters—whether retired, volunteer, professional, or industrial—and EMTs or medics employed by fire departments, the club has grown to encompass over 300 chapters and more than 9,000 members worldwide, making it the largest firefighter motorcycle club globally.
The South Carolina Chapter 1 of the Red Knights was revitalized in February 2020. Our chapter, vibrant and expanding, now boasts over 40 members, many of whom bring with them the rich experience of more than 20 years from various Red Knights chapters across the country. This seasoned membership fosters a strong sense of community, camaraderie, and commitment to the values that define us:
- Brotherhood: We cherish the bonds formed through shared experiences and the spirit of support among members.
- Charity: We are dedicated to giving back to our communities, engaging in various charitable activities that reflect our service-oriented ethos.
- Motorcycles: Our passion for riding unites us, celebrating the freedom and adventure of the open road.
Join us in our journey, where tradition meets enthusiasm, and where every ride is an opportunity to strengthen our brotherhood and serve our community.
